• Rio Hondo Community College, Department of Public Services—Police Academy, Whittier, CA (1994-1997). Develop curriculum and instruct on sexual orientation as related to law enforcement.
• Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Police Advisory Task Force, Los Angeles, CA (1992-present). Wrote 175-page curriculum and teaching package on sexual orientation (1992 revised in 1996). Curriculum used in the Los Angles Police Academy and distributed nation-wide for use by law enforcement agencies.
• Saddleback Community College District, Mission Viejo, CA (1994). Conducted a series of workshops on Sexual orientations issues in the workplace.
• Southern California Community College Consortium— Affirmative Action, Coast Community College District, Costa Mesa, CA, May 13, 1994. Conducted workshop on Sexual Orientation: The new law and its impact on the workplace.

Aerospace/Automotive Engineering

• HITCO, Gardena, CA (1981-1985). Assumed the duties of high temperature composite laboratory supervisor and developed many pre-production projects and R&D research. Responsible for all department reports, cost estimates, scheduling, interfacing with the customer and manpower projections.
• Rocketdyne (Division of Rockwell International), Canoga Park (1978-80). Responsible for all reports, data acquisition and data reduction for the launching of communication satellites from Vandenberg AFB on MB3/Thor rockets. Performed on-site testing and data analysis for the Boeing Water Jet program including issuing the final customer reports.

Stewart Automotive, (1968-1978) Los Angeles, CA. Click on name to view custom cars I designed and built. These were used in movies and won First Place in the Cannon Custom Car Show circut.

Ballet and Non-Profit Organizations

Charles Stewart Dance Institute, Redding, CA (1987-90). Owner-Manager school of dance and dance wear retail store. Formed and directed 501(c)3 non-profit regional dance company. Published quarterly dance publication. Wrote entire bookkeeping computer programs for the business utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Classical Ballet Foundation, (1972-76) Los Angeles, CA. Principal dancer and business manager. 501(c)3 Company of 16. Secured funding, coordinated tours, handled payroll, contracts, scheduling. Click on name to view dance photos.
