-- Completed and Seeking Movie Producers

Return of Gort. Transgender science fiction and comedy screenplay that reenacts the opening scenes from the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still." Androgynous aliens land in Washington D.C. during Gay Pride Festival and everything goes wrong. Hilarious, farcical, and light hearted. Click here to download a copyrighted version.

Mega Stars. A young movie star up for the academy award for best actor wishes to come out gay. He faces intense pressure to stay in the closet, is blackmailed, and must unravel secrets about the sexuality of his own movie star parents. Serious drama. Click here to download a copyrighted version.

Hey Flip!. Jerry, an 18-year-old high school senior, is unsure about what to do with his life after graduation. He and his surfing friends decide to take one more road trip to many California surfing spots before they all split to go their own way. The trip has many memorable adventures. By the end of the trip, Jerry learns self-worth and overcomes his insecurities, and decides to attend college for a better future.

Marie's Nutcracker. Marie is the understudy for the part of Clara in her mother's dance studio production of The Nutcracker. Peter, a dreamy-looking male dancer hired for the role of the Nutcracker/Prince helps Marie overcomes her stage fright and boosts her self-esteem. When the prima ballerina is injured during opening night, Marie steps into the role of Clara with stunning results. Both Marie and Peter fall in love under the spell of Christmas Magic. This is not the full-length ballet. Instead, it shows the production of the Nutcracker and highlights many of the best-known dances woven together though the narrative of the production. There are many humors characters and settings along with a touch of magic and sentimentality. The movie is destined to become a Christmas classic played year-after-year in reruns. On-screen dancing comprises approximately 1/3 of the running time. Only the best-loved musical numbers are used. There are inventive, non-dance, uses for some of the Nutcracker tunes.

OTHER PROJECTS

Stop Hate, EDUCATE! New, non-profit tax-exempt organization focused on providing effective bias reduction educational programs. Join now. Click here for details.

Distance Learning Programs. I am working with a number of Southern California universities to approve an Internet-based semester-long course on LGBT issues. For this effort, I have written a 280-page study guide to accompany my book, Sexually Stigmatized Communities, and am in the process of converting it to Internet format.

Video and Internet Training. I have written the manuals and video scripts for 13 training programs on LGBT issues in the workplace, law enforcement, higher education, K-12 education, transsexual and transgender issues, same-sex sexual harassment, corrections, psychological services, and others related groups. I am coordinating teams of people to review the materials and begin the production of half-hour training videos. Once the videos are completed, they will be transferred to DVD format and modified for CD and Internet training programs. To help accomplish these ends, I have launched Stop Hate, EDUCATE!.
